拍品的状况可能存在极大差异，而由于其性质使然，拍品难以处于完美无瑕的状态。拍品均以拍卖时的状况出售。

The work is structurally sound. There are losses to the corners of the board, horizontal edges and left vertical edge, most visible to the centre of the upper horizontal extreme edge. There are artist's pinholes with associated pinpoint paint losses near the lower corners. There are scattered minor abrasions with associated losses and accretions. There are minor inconsistencies to the varnish in places, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
