The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged in three points to the upper horizontal edge on the reverse to its underlying support. There are soft creases to the upper right corner, lower left corner and to the right upper extreme vertical edge. There are some minor bumps to the lower right vertical edge. There are some fine drying cracks to the thicker impasto. There is a minor hairline abrasion to the figure's proper right eye. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
