The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is laid down on its underlying support. The work is structurally sound. There is lifting to the corners and the lower horizontal edge with associated pinpoint losses and creasing. There is a minor tear to the upper left extreme horizontal edge. There are areas of scattered accretions, most visibly along the lower edge and upper right corner. There are two pinpoint losses to the red and green paint passages in the upper right quadrant. There are some faint watermarks to the lower half of the composition. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
