The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of mount. The sheet is laid down on board and the edges of the card are covered by the window mount. The sheet is undulating. The varnish layer has discoloured slightly and is lifting in places. There are creases along the extreme edges with associated losses to the media. There are two small tears to the centre of the right extreme vertical edge and the upper left extreme vertical edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
