Blue Abstract

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of frame. The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. The canvas is slightly slack and undulates to the vertical edges. There are artist's pinholes in places with associated hairline cracks and pinpoint paint losses. There are some further hairline cracks and pinpoint paint losses in places throughout. There are watermarks to the upper right quadrant. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching.
