The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, with one deckle edge above with a few short nicks and three short tears (1-3 cm.) at left
- pale light-/time staining, a few pale pinpoint foxmarks along the margins
- 3 stripes of soft, unobtrusive discoloration at the lower right margin and some traces of printing ink at the lower left corner
- some soft handling creases along the sheet edges
