The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, each with a deckle edge at left
- the edition number amended from to 300 to 350, as usual for this print
- the papers slightly toned, with pale time staining and pale backboard staining
- occasional, unobtrusive foxing and surface dirt in the margins
- occasional ink stains along the sheet edges, mainly the lower sheet edges
