The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the spine of the portfolio with the leather slightly worn, a few stains on the front cover
- a few pale stains on pg. 4, not affecting the plates
- occasional, very unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks, minor paper toning at the extreme sheet edges and soft, handling creases in some of the plates
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in very good condition.
