The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:

- the colours of the flowers, stems and vase printed à la poupée
Cream mount:
- on simili-Japan paper, with the Scroll printed in gold
- some soft, unobtrusive handling creases at the sheet edges
- occasional, pale and unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks and minor surface dirt
- remains of old paper hinges at the upper edge on the reverse
- inscribed in pencil, on the reverse, to be exchanged for a black and gold mount (same pattern) / Th. R
Green mount:
- on laid paper, partial watermark Coat-of-Arms, a trial proof printed in light green and gold and with the scroll printed in dark green
- inscribed 3 in pencil at the lower left corner
- the paper slightly toned at the sheet edges
- traces of printing ink along the margins
- pale backboard staining and remains of old paper hinges on the reverse
White mount:
- on laid paper, with the scroll printed in light red/pink
- minor skinning at the sheet corners
- a 4-mm. nick at the lower right sheet edge
- minor, unobtrusive surface dirt along the sheet edges
- pale mount staining at the centre of the pink scroll in the area covered by the mounted etching
- pale backboard staining and remains of old paper hinges on the reverse
Otherwise as described in the catalogue and in good condition, framed.
