The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sanguine on laid paper. Watermarked 'MBM (FRANCE) INGRES D'ARCHES'. Hinged to the window-mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. The upper-right corner undulates slightly due to the hinging process. A small paper loss at the upper-right corner and a few tiny nicks at the extreme edges elsewhere. Mount- and light-staining. A few pale foxmarks. The reverse sheet edges with old mounting tape remnants. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
