The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue description; the full sheet, some irregular mount (?) staining at the left margin, a few pale foxmarks in the lower margin at right and around the signature, remains of old hinging tape at the upper sheet edges, a pale pinpoint foxmark at upper left in the margin, annotated with title and other pencil numbers in the lower margin, other minor surface dirt, generally in good condition.
