Charcoal and coloured pencil on wove paper. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. The artist's pinholes at the upper corners. The left sheet edge slightly uneven, consistent with stemming from the artist's sketchbook, with a few associated skilful repairs to short tears and small paper losses. The tip of the lower-left corner made up. A few pale unobtrusive foxmarks and a small spot of discolouration towards the upper right corner. Mount- and light-staining. The reverse with a coloured pencil sketch by the artist. The reverse sheet edges with some discolouration from old mounting tape. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
