Oil and sgraffito on oil paper laid down on card. Varnished at the time of execution. The artist's pinholes at the upper and lower sheet corners, and upper-centre sheet edge. A small paper loss at the left sheet edge and in the upper-left corner. Some vertical lines of abrasion with associated pigment losses and two flattened creases in the right sheet margin. A tiny spot of mount remnant at the lower-left corner. Slight uneveness in the varnish layer. Some light-staining. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
