The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pencil and estompe on laid paper. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. A soft horizontal crease through the upper third of the sheet, and a diagonal crease at the lower-right corner. Further handling creases elsewhere. The lower sheet edge with a few tiny nicks. Some light- and mount-staining. Some pinpoint foxmarks and tiny spots of discolouration. A spot of thinning towards the centre-left edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
