The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge below
- inscribed in pencil 934570 on the reverse
- with very pale light- and mount staining
- a few occasional pale pinpoint foxmarks in the margins
- a tiny unobtrusive dent at the extreme left sheet edge, some soft and unobtrusive cockling along the sheet edges
- hinged with paper tape at the upper sheet edge on the reverse, remains of an old paper hinge at the lower left corner on the reverse
