The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- printed to sheet edges, presumably the full sheet, with a deckle edge at left
- some soft and unobtrusive creases in places, a soft flattened fold at the upper left corner, a few printer's creases, a vertical crease along the height of the sheet
- a thin spot of surface dirt on the centurion sword
- hinged at the upper sheet edge on the reverse
