The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, two with a deckle edge at left, each framed
- each sheet with some cockling of different degree in places

- one plate with a small pale stain at the left margin, occasional surface soiling in places
- each presumably tipped to the mount at the upper sheet edge on the reverse
- the text sheets in very good condition, the portfolio showing some wear, with a pale stain on the cover and a crease at lower right edge, inscribed in pencil on the title-page
