The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, with deckle edges, the colours fresh
- scattered pale time related offsetting in some sheets (mainly text sheets and a few double folded etchings)
- occasional scattered pinpoint foxing (mostly on the text pages)
- a few, very soft handling creases in places in the sheet edges, mainly the blank sheets
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
