The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, with a deckle edge at right
- a few soft creases in the image, mainly in the black printed shapes in the lower part of the image (5 cm. and shorter), some soft and unobtrusive handling creases and flattened folds along the sheet edges, mainly at the left corners (15 cm. and shorter)
- with very pale light-staining, pale time staining at the sheet edges, some pale stains and occasional tiny foxmarks in places, pale backboard staining
- remains of old adhesive tape along the upper sheet edge on the reverse
