The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the colours bright and fresh
- the full sheet, a deckle edge at right
- a short and unobtrusive irregular tear (approx. 1,5 cm.) at the lower left sheet edge
- a few soft and unobtrusive short creases at the sheet edges in places
- the sheet apparently very slightly toned
- minor surface soiling at the sheet edges in places
- remains of old paper adhesive hinges on the reverse in places, occasionally showing through at the edges, with occasional associated soft skinning in places
- titled in pencil on the reverse
