The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, with a deckle edge at right
- the colours fresh, occasional very pale time staining in the deckle edges visible on the reverse, very minor toning at the extreme deckled edges of the text sheets
- the portfolio showing very minor wear and staining in places, minor surface dirt in the title-page at the sheet edges in places
Otherwise as described and in very good condition.
