The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheet, a deckle edge below, titled in pencil on the reverse
- occasional pale mount staining in the margins, some pale foxmarks, at the lower margins, mainly at the lower right sheet edge
- occasional smudges of red ink, due to the mounting
- a few soft and unobtrusive handling creases along the margins and sheet edges
- hinged to mount at the upper sheet edge on the reverse
Otherwise as described and in good condition, framed.
