This booklet was published “for the exhibition from April 29 to May 30, 1964 at Point Cardinal of good sheets of etchings and writings by Max Ernst to illustrate the data of Guillaume Tempel brought to light by Iliazd to appear under the title (65) Maximiliana or the illegal exercise of astronomy ”. The text is notably composed of a short biographical introduction, and a chronology of Tempel's life, based on research carried out by Iliazd between 1962 and 1964 in France and Italy.
