The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, six contained in folios within the box, four of them framed and hinged to a support sheet (unexamined out of frames)
- some of the signatures slightly faded
- the four framed prints hinged along the sheet edges on the reverse to a support, some cockling and a few creases in places
- the unframed sheets, minor surface soling at the extreme sheet edges and occasional very pale foxmarks in places, some sheets with some soft cockling and occasional creases, L'Ouraboros with two tiny surface losses at the lower sheet edges (each 3 x 20 mm., probably due to adhesive tape), a 20 cm. crease at the upper right sheet edge and a shorter one at left, Le Songe de un Alchimiste with creases and cockling at the upper sheet edge
- the text covers with a few minor pale stains, the sheets with minor time staining at the edges, minor soft creasing in places
- the box showing occasional wear, a few minor dents and surface mould in places, the glass partition with minor pale stains, the Wheel with mercury with a few cracks across the diameter
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
