The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- the full sheets, deckle edges below
- a few pinpoint foxmarks, occasional very minor and unobtrusive toning at the sheet edges
- a few very soft and unobtrusive handling creases in places
- the etched copper sword stuck within the spine
- the parchment portfolio with minor surface soiling in places and occasional pale red smudges in places
- the paper wrappers with minor surface soiling and pale time staining at the edges, the bigger one with four tears at the spine edges (6 cm. and shorter)
- the red leather slipcase with minor wear and occasional scuffs
Otherwise as described and generally in very good condition.
