The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- very good impressions, with wide margins, presumably the full sheets
- pale time staining mostly at the sheet edges, some pale offsetting probably due to the acidic tissue paper
- some pale scattered pinpoint foxmarks, only occasionally in the plates, mostly in the margins or visible on the reverse
- B 33 with a short nick at the left sheet edge (4 mm.)
- the portfolio showing some wear, with pale discolouration and occasional staining
Otherwise as described and generally in good condition.
