The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The specimen top with a repaired break spanning across the diameter, mostly visible on reverse and on some patched areas to the white outer border, less so to the interior specimen marbles. Generally with some minor 'nibbling' and shallow marks to surface. The base adapted as noted in cataloging; the top of recent manufacture and the remainder probably 19th century. Some cracks to the veneer and rubbing and losses to the giltwood. Sturdy and ready to place.
