The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The frame with age and construction cracks as expected. The carving with some scattered minor abrasions and losses. One acanthus-carved inverted finial on the stretcher replaced. Some restored breaks to the carved elements. Scattered woodworm, now inactive. The central cross brace replaced and now loose. Regilt and now with some rubbing and losses revealing bole and gesso in areas. The marble top with some 'nibbling' to edges.
