The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Bronze with brown patina. The work is composed of one integral bronze element. The work is structurally sound. There is a fixing that appears to have been crudely welded to the reverse, and is possibly inherent. There is some minor oxidation, predominantly in the crevices, and some faint rubbing to the patina on some of the more prominent surfaces. There are some working marks visible on the reverse and the underside that are clearly inherent. There is some minor surface dirt in the crevices, and some casting residue in an area on the lower reverse. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work is in generally good condition.
