The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Black pigment, linseed oil and charcoal on paper. The sheet is float mounted and is secured to a supporting, non-acidic board in several places along the reverse sheet edges. The edges of the sheet are slightly uneven, consistent with the artist’s working method. The discolouration of the sheet is inherent. There is some minor surface dirt and studio detritus in places, likely contemporary to the period of execution. Subject to the forgoing it is our view that the work is in generally very good overall condition.
