The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

White marble. The work is composed of one predominant marble element, which is attached to a black base. There are a few areas of natural variation in tone to the marble. There is a thin layer of surface dirt. There are a few minor dashes of white paint in places to the surface of the work and to the base, noticeable to the right side. There is a pinpoint black accretion to the extreme top edge of the work. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work is in generally good condition.
