The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged, in places to the four corners on the reverse to its underlying support. There are artist pinholes to all four corners. The edges are uneven, in keeping with the artist's working method. There is a thin layer of surface dust. There is very minor craquelure to all four corners with minute associated paint loss, this is not visually distracting. There is minute lifting to the lower left. When examined under ultra violet light there is no sign of retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
