The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. There is a thin layer of surface dust mainly in the crevices. There are a few lines of rubbing to the proper left arm. There are some small areas of oxidation and plaster remnants to the crevices and to the left part of the work. There are a few spots of rust in places mainly to the nails. This is mainly in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. There are a few fly spots mainly on the hands and the proper right arm. There is a metal nail cover on each shoulder, the one on the proper right shoulder has been reaffixed. Subject to the foregoing it is our view that the work is in generally good condition.
