Irwin took the photograph with the 60mm lens as the LM crew inspected the SIM bay of Endeavour prior to docking.

Crater Taruntius is partly visible on the right. Latitude / longitude: 7.5° N / 48° E.

173:22:12 Scott: Okay, I see a small circular object there just - just to the right of the handle, and I don’t see anything covering it. [...]
173:22:44 Mitchell (Mission Control): If you can snap a picture of it, we’d appreciate it.
