Lot Essay

Showing Pad A, Launch Complex 29 at the Kennedy Space Center with Apollo 4, Spacecraft 017 Saturn 501. This mission was an unmanned, earth-orbiting mission which was launched at 7:00:01AM (EST) November 9, 1967. The moon is captured in the top left corner as the sun rose behind the vehicle.
