[1] The launch of AS-201 on February 26, 1966. This was an unmanned suborbital mission to test the vehicle as well as the Apollo Command and Service Modules. It reached an altitude of 303 miles and travelled 5,264 miles downrange during the thirty-seven minute flight.

[2] The Apollo/Saturn 201 was the first of the S-1-B series. It lifted off pad 34 at 11:23am, February 26, 1966 from Cape Kennedy, Florida.
