The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall very good condition of the recto with signs commensurate with age, noting minor indentations and light scratches to the surface. There are two dark marks on the bottom margin and slight splatter stain seen on the right side of the image and margin when in raking light. The verso is also in very good condition, with slight ink smudging from the caption and erratum on the bottom margin but this is not visible from the recto.
