Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Generally in good condition with signs commensurate with age, noting indentations and scratches to the recto and the corners are slightly bumped. There is residue on the left of the image and a slight gold sheen to the bottom corners which is in keeping with the age of the print. There is an unfortunate residue of glue that has been brushed on the verso which has left an orange stain and as a result there are strands of hair and small pieces of grit predominantly at the top that are intertwined with the glue.
