The vase painted with a view of the Houses of Parliament from the river, the plate decorated with gilt thistle, rose and clover patterns, with a profile portrait of Margaret Thatcher to the centre and the inscription ‘THE RT. HON MARGARET THATCHER M.P. PRIME MINISTER from 1979 to 1989’
