Details
Map of South Georgia, presented to Margaret Thatcher, with ‘Thatcher Peninsula’ named for her, and printed in red in main inset map ‘The approach to Stromness and Cumberland Bays.’ The map is based on the 1930 survey under the direction of the Admiralty Hydrographer Admiral Douglas, with revisions in 1931 and 1959, and small corrections dated 1989 and 1990.
