The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This impressive mirror is in good overall condition.
The gilding of the frame is a little worn by design, to enhance the appearance of age. There is also a little cracking and chipping to he gesso from use and handling, as expected and there are some minor marks to the mirror plate.
