The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work is not lined. The canvas is slightly loose. Very fine craquelures and drying cracks scatter on the paint surface and extreme edges. Slight rubbing marks along the edges. Minor wears and slight abrasions to the corners and edges. Extremely minor pinpoint paint loss chips scatter very occasionally on paint surface and edges. Very thin layer of dust to the painting. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows.
