The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected without a frame. Negligible abrasions and handling marks around the corners and sides. A few minor and stable cracks on right corners. Visible only upon very close inspection, pinpoint abrasions scatter very occasionally on the upper part. Visible only upon very close inspection, faint sketching marks in dark grey scatter on the composition, which are consistent with the artist’s creation method and part of original condition. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows. Colours are fresh and vibrant.
