Twilight

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected without a frame. Minor wears and slight abrasions to the corners and edges, occasionally associated with tiny spots of paint losses along the edges. Stable cracks and craquelures on the impasto areas. Minor and stable crushed impasto tips could be observed only upon very close inspection, occasionally associated with pinpoint paint losses. Pinpoint white accretions scatter occasionally. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows.
