The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected without a frame. Slightly abraded corners and sides. Fine and stable drying cracks and craquelures predominantly on middle and lower part. Faint and minor scratches scatter occasionally. Canvas texture could be observed on some parts of the cloth. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows.
