The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Translucent blotchy and linear stains can be observed throughout canvas on top of paint layer. There are faint scratches and craquelures on upper parts of the canvas. There are scattered negligible accretion and translucent vertical marks presumably consistent with the artist’s method across the surface. Fine cracks along the sides and on paint surface are occasionally associated with minor paint loss. Slightly abraded corners and edges. Negligible abrasions on the paint surface. When examined under Ultraviolet light, inspection, pinpoint and fine lines of inpainting scattered occasionally.
