The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. Work was inspected without a frame. There is some wear to the extreme edges and corners in places. There are some soft handling marks in places on front and reverse of the work. Faint and light scratches on work surface and light abrasions to the surface, presumably consistent with artist’s technique. Pinholes scatter very occasionally, presumably part of original condition. Minor warping of the photograph paper.
