The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion the work is overall in good condition. Work was inspected without a frame. Visible only upon close inspection, tiny spots of white fibre scatter on paint surface. Visible only under raking light, minor translucent marks scatter occasionally on paint surface. Extremely minor and stable cracks and craquelures scatter very occasionally on paint surface. When examined under UV, no apparent retouching shows.
