It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The sides of the canvas are taped. A small area of paint loss to left of the upper edge, measuring approximately 6 cm. Minute drying cracks are visible along the turning edges and across the surface of the work, which are consistent with the natural aging process of the artist’s chosen medium. One faint drying crack on the lower left quadrant to the extreme edge, measuring approximately 17 cm. When examined under ultraviolet light, no apparent retouching shows.
