The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

It is in our opinion that the work is in overall good condition. The work was inspected within its frame, the sides thus cannot be checked. Pinpoint dots of faint yellowish stain marks occasional to the work. A tiny accretion to the upper left corner, near the figure marked with "172". Two small areas on the lower edge have been abraded and smudged, presumably part of the artist's working process. When examined under UV light, no apparent retouching shows.
